Give us a shout if you are looking to design, buy and install new lighting for your home. We are specialists at it and as we are an independent electrician, we are often able to supply light, fixtures and fittings cheaper than what you can find on the high-street. Why? Well, we’re not tied into any contracts and we work closely with our distributors to ensure we can pass on trade rates to our local customers. Let's hope for a 'bright' 2021. We'll let you decide on what to watch (and probably record so you don't miss it). We've picked out some absolute favourites from the Radio Times Christmas list this year for you. So, here you are...

If you are looking to upgrade your TV system and living room technology (surround sound, smart systems etc.) then give us a shout and let's book in a conversation in the new year! We are leading electricians for home automation in our area. #MBElectrical It's pretty hard to ignore smart technology - we all pretty much own a smartphone and love the instant ability to search for things on the internet, chat with our friends and share information about our lives wherever we are. We are accustomed to making our lives easier by the use of technology and that's where the explosion in home automation and getting it installed in a home has come from. With this, there is a lot of excitement and lots of products to choose from to bring the technology to life, improving your way of life and your ability to control, protect and improve your property. With the explosion though, there is also the natural scepticism towards home automation products and systems - who at first wanted to ask Alexa anything, but now finds it a normal way of life? If you are one of those that are thinking about it but are still unsure, let's break down the top 5 benefits for your below. Want to find out more information about a home automation system? Fill out some details below. 1. Improve Your Security Improving the safety of you and your family or whoever lives with you is one of the main reasons people opt into home automation systems. It can also be a benefit when looking after elderly family members and knowing that if they have a problem at home then you can easily find out what and help them. Systems use the collected information of connected devices and motion sensors to know when you leave the house and can close the smart garage door, turn off lights, or lock smart locks. You can also tap in through an app on your phone and at the click of a button, turn off forgotten connected appliances so you can avoid causing a problem if left on. 2. Increasing Your Safety Home automation systems can improve your safety. This could be by turning the lights on whilst you're away, turning them on when you get home (including outside lighting) and by alerting you when something is not quite right.
4. Making Energy Savings
Wouldn't it be amazing if you could control your heating from an app on your phone, from wherever you are. No more setting a timer or running the heating when you aren't home. You can control approximately 48% of your energy spending through a smart home automation system. Smart thermostats, lighting and smart appliances can all be connected, allowing you to hopefully make some savings on your energy bills. 5. Create Tasks Have you thought about setting some tasks automatically in your home? What about using lighting in the morning to rise and shine early. Don't let that doorbell cause a distraction to your day by being alerted when someone is coming towards the door. Save time, increase your productivity. With all that said, we have many options and suggestions ready and waiting to see if home automation technology could be the smart decision you make next. Leave some details and let us chat you through the options, benefits and how it all works. #MBElectrical 07791 847 798 info@mattbaineselectrical.co.uk |
